You are probably familiar with the following situation:

You require a pallet truck and want to record the weight of your goods during transport.

The scale should be custom-made to your requirements and at the same time offer a good price/performance ratio.

The functionality of the electronic display should be made according to your requirements and be able to save or transmit the weighing data, as required.

The ideal solution:

The pallet truck scales are available with a measuring range of 600 kg to a maximum of 2,500 kg. The pallet truck scale provides a practical method of weighing all your goods on pallets and transporting them, just as on a conventional lifting truck.

The electronic display is mounted on the device. Depending on the application, we offer you battery-driven versions with a simple weight display or touch screen versions with a colour graphics monitor for entering articles in the in-house database.

Lifting trucks with integral scales are calibrated ex works and can be fitted with a printer or an alibi memory. Electrically driven versions are also available.

Upon request, we will gladly send you a series of information about our products, starting with the access to our data sheets.

How does the pallet truck scale work?

Fork-lift trucks with a weighing function are used and handled just like normal lifting trucks. Four shear force load cells, approved for certification, are installed beneath the lifting forks; there they record the weight of the load on the fork with high precision.

The electronic mounted on the truck analyses the signal from the load cells and shows the weight in the display. The display is illuminated / backlighted and therefore can be easily read off even in conditions of poor visibility.

The stored data can be transmitted over a variety of interfaces Wi-Fi, RF, Bluetooth, USB key, etc.)

In the case of approved pallet trucks scales the weight is recorded by an integral printer and/or in what is known as an alibi memory.

Depending on the application, the electronics can store product specifications and other information (article numbers, time and date, etc.) to the weight values.

The mechanical components are painted or produced in stainless steel.

In the standard model the fork dimensions are 1,150 x 550 x 85 mm. Special dimensions, such as 1,240 x 680 x 85 mm or special fork lengths (850 – 1,500 mm) are available on request.

For explosion-proof applications we can deliver ATEX models with conductive wheels.
