Calibratable weighing terminals and controllers for industrial scales from Systec
For over 20 years, we have enjoyed a close partnership with SysTec Systemtechnik und Industrieautomation GmbH, known by the abbreviation Systec.
In the field of dynamic mass flow measurement, Hense Wägetechnik uses weighing terminals from Systec, particularly for continuous flow scales, type FlowSlide (set LINK to FlowSlide), belt scale applications (set LINK to belt scales), and weighing screws.
In addition, a wide range of (standard) applications are covered by the various weighing terminals. These include liquid and solid filling scales, continuous flow scales, belt scales, industrial scales, receiving and loading scales, checkweighers, counting scales, mobile scales, vehicle scales, and many other applications in weighing technology.
The high quality standards and innovative strength of the hardware and software developed and produced in Germany make SysTec a market leader in industrial weighing technology.
The wide range of certifications and type approvals enable use in all major markets worldwide.
All terminals are characterized by very high manufacturing quality and protection class.
The most important SysTec weighing terminals in the Hense Wägetechnik portfolio:
IT6000E: Calibratable weighing indicators
The IT6000E weighing indicator and controller is calibratable and universally applicable. This evaluation unit is frequently used by Hense Wägetechnik for belt scale applications and special applications. Its free programmability allows software adjustments to be made according to your requirements.
IT3: Calibratable weighing terminal
The IT3 calibratable weighing terminal is suitable for harsh environmental conditions (protection class IP 69K) and has a large weight display. This unit is often used for dosing components (fieldbus), simple filling controls, or as a checkweigher, and optionally in hazardous areas. A black box version is available for larger quantities or if no regular operating inputs are made.
IT2000M: Weighing/dosing module for DIN rail
The SysTec IT2000M weighing module is ideal for calibration-compliant weight determination in both static and dynamic scales. What sets it apart from other terminals is the design of its housing. The IT2000 is mounted on a standard DIN rail in a control cabinet or housing. The IT2000 usually operates in the background via a bus connection to downstream PLC systems. Therefore, a black box version without a display is a logical choice.
ATEX weighing terminals for zones 1 / 21 (and 2 / 22), category 2GD
The IT3000Ex and IT8000Ex weighing terminals are approved in accordance with ATEX guidelines for use in potentially explosive zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. The IT1, IT3, IT4, IT6, and IT8000E weighing terminals are also approved for use in ATEX zones 2 and 22 in the corresponding design. The necessary accessories, such as Zener barriers, EX remote displays, etc., complete the overall package.
The "intelligent terminal box" enables seamless monitoring of the components used in a weighing system. It replaces conventional terminal boxes or connection boxes for load cells. Since the intelligent terminal box can usually be operated without an additional supply voltage, an existing standard terminal box can be easily replaced 1:1 in most applications.
Biggest advantage: precise measurement results and static safety
The intelligent terminal box shows its greatest strength during the commissioning and installation of weighing systems with four or more load cells, and especially in large silos. An even load on all load cells is a basic requirement for precise measurement results. In large silos, it is also essential that the load of the silo is distributed across all four or more support points, as specified by the static calculation of the silo.
The easy-to-read OLED display shows the individual mV signals of the load cells, the average value, the supply voltage, and information and error messages. The individual signals represent the load on each load cell, which is also shown in a clear bar display. By shimming the individual support points, an even load on all points is ensured. When configured correctly, the intelligent terminal box indicates an uneven load distribution until this is eliminated and the silo or container is sufficiently well leveled.
A fault message is shown on the display of the intelligent terminal box and the corresponding evaluation unit of the Target 260, Status 290, or Taskmaster 580 types. A fault can also be output as a collective fault via a relay output, enabling reliable monitoring of the entire weighing system. If necessary, messages are only deleted after acknowledgment. This is particularly helpful when troubleshooting sporadic errors or "loose contacts."
Four load cells can be monitored per terminal box, while additional load cells or silos can be integrated via the standard CAN bus.
For automated processes that require more than just a weight display, various controllers are available for demanding tasks. Whether control weighing with checkweighers, continuous dosing using the loss-in-weight method, or special controls for special systems, the electronics used must be reliable, fast, and process-safe.
Our controllers not only enable precise recording and processing of weight values, but also perform control functions such as dosing, tolerance monitoring, or recipe control. Integration into existing systems is possible via all common interfaces and fieldbus protocols.
Depending on the application, preconfigured application packages and software or individually programmable solutions are available. For special applications, we work with the customer to develop customized control concepts – tailored to your process and on-site requirements

In combination with the "intelligent terminal box" (set LINK to the intelligent terminal box page) and the Target 260 or Status 290S evaluation units, not only can the fill level of the silos be monitored, but the status of the individual load cells can also be analyzed in real time.
Freely programmable weighing electronics with specially adapted software are used for mass flow measurement of bulk solids, for example in our FlowSlide systems or certain belt scales. These dynamic scales place high demands on the weighing electronics, as the load cell built into the scale must be sampled at a high frequency and the raw signal must be filtered. Conventional standard evaluation units cannot do this, which is why dynamic measuring systems always consist of the mechanical part and an evaluation unit.
This offers extensive options in terms of interfaces as well as inputs and outputs.
In addition to the classic function of measuring mass flow and quantity, complex dosing processes with coarse and fine flow control as well as automatic run-on correction or individual process sequences are also possible. In addition, remote control can be implemented via various bus systems (Profinet, Ethernet, OPC UA, Profibus, EtherCAT, etc.) to monitor and control operation remotely. Of course, the scales can also be operated independently.
Compact electronic units with an attractive price-performance ratio are also available for standard belt scales. These offer a reliable and cost-effective solution for simple weighing processes without complex additional functions.
Remote displays in various sizes are used to improve the visibility of measured values and process information. These enable readings to be taken from distances of up to 100 meters, depending on the selected character height, which can be up to 140 mm.
Large displays can be supplied either as pure display devices or as weighing electronics with a large display. The latter variant combines two functions in one device. Optionally, models can be equipped with a built-in traffic light function, which provides visual feedback during truck loading, for example, thus simplifying and speeding up the process.
