You are probably familiar with the following situation:

You need to measure exactly the contents of a suspended container or crane load.

You want to weigh a belt conveyor or a screw-conveyor.

The ideal solution:

Our tensile load measuring cells have been developed for these applications and for the precision measurement of tensile forces.

Forces from a few grams up to 20 t can be measured exactly using tensile load cells.

Frequently one measuring cell is sufficient to record containers, belt conveyors or screw-conveyors in conjunction with counter bearings, swivel joints or end-stop buffers.

How do the tensile load measuring cells work?

Tensile load measuring cells are manufactured either from flat steel or as a folded shear beam.

The force is transmitted through threaded rods with an eye and/or swivel or ring eyelets.

Tensile loads offer an optimum opportunity to introduce forces exactly vertically and centrally into a load cell.

There are simple mechanical aids to protect the load cells from swinging or overload.
