At the easyFairs - SCHÜTTGUT trade fair in Dortmund, Hense Wägetechnik presented the new calibratable bulk goods batch weigher for the first time.

The batch weigher made of highly polished stainless steel was fed with granulate by a vertical screw conveyor. At the same time, the material flow was measured using the compact, maintenance-free "Baby FlowSlide" measuring system.

The Baby Safemount and Safemount weighing modules in the 1,000 to 100,000 kg range are now certified to EN 1090. The EN 1090 approval is a necessary component when using load cells in steel and aluminum structures.

The trends at the trade fair

Nevertheless, there are currently only a few suppliers who can cover the load spectrum from 1000 kg to 100 t.

Retrofittable weight measurement for existing silos also attracted a great deal of interest. Once again, it became clear that the trend is moving away from volumetric silo inventory control towards gravimetric content measurement.

Microwave throughput measurement, intelligent clamp box and stainless steel belt scales completed the program for static and dynamic industrial weighing.

SCHÜTTGUT DORTMUND 2017 was once again very exciting, with 500 exhibitors, over 6,000 trade visitors and 100 specialist presentations on five open lecture stages.
