The performance of your technical equipment can only be maintained if it is calibrated or adjusted regularly. Depending on the design and area of application of the scale, it is crucial to check it at regular intervals to ensure optimum availability. Other weighing systems, on the other hand, are virtually maintenance-free according to the principle of "Set it and forget it!"
Most of our products are extremely low-maintenance and can usually be checked and serviced by the user. However, if you do need assistance from our technicians, you can arrange an appointment with us at short notice.
Regular maintenance not only increases the service life of your systems, but also reduces downtime and leads to cost savings. We recommend checking conveyor belt scales and dosing belt scales annually and container weighing systems every 2 to 3 years.
In addition to "classic" adjustment using reference measurements, test weights can also be used. Hense has various types of test weights and test chains at its disposal. Our technicians use these in particular for the maintenance and inspection of weighing systems.
- Test weights are used to calibrate static weighing systems, e.g., container scales.
- Test chains are link chains and are used to calibrate conveyor belt scales when reference measurement with the conveyed material is not possible.
Calibrated scales must be checked regularly by the responsible calibration office. Upon request, we can take care of the entire organization, preparation, and coordination of the calibration of your scales. This includes checking the scales before the calibration date, arranging appointments with the calibration office and all parties involved, and organizing any test weights that may be required.
